REGIONAL INFERENCE
The depression over southeast Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood now seen as a well marked low pressure area over northeast Madhya Pradesh & neighbourhood with associated upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea level. The upper air cyclonic circulation over East Rajasthan & neighbourhood now lies over central parts of Rajasthan & neighbourhood and extends upto 0.9 km above mean sea level. The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Jaisalmer, Sheopur, centre of well marked low pressure area over northeast Madhya Pradesh, Purulia, Digha and thence southeastwards to northeast Bay of Bengal and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. The western disturbance as a trough in mid­tropospheric westerlies roughly along Longitude 77.0°E and north of Latitude 32.0°N above mean sea level has moved away east­northeastwards. A fresh Western Disturbance as an upper air cyclonic circulation lies over western parts of Afghanistan & neighbourhood and extends upto mid­tropospheric levels.
