REGIONAL INFERENCE
The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Anupgarh, Narnaul, Aligarh, Hardoi, bahraich and thence foothills of the Himalayas. The cyclonic circulation over central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab persists and now extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level. The cyclonic circulation over west Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Uttarakhand & Haryana extending upto 0.9 km above mean sea level persists. A trough in mid & upper tropospheric westerlies runs with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 70°E to the north of Lat. 32°N. The cyclonic circulation over south Pakistan and adjoining Kutch & southwest Rajasthan Now lies over south Pakistan and neighbourhood at 3.1 km above mean sea level.
