REGIONAL INFERENCE
The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to pass through Firozpur, Meerut, Lucknow, Muzaffarpur and thence eastwards to east Nagaland. The Western Disturbance as a trough in mid & upper tropospheric westerlies with its axis at 5.8 km above mean sea level roughly along Long. 72°E to the north of Lat. 34°North persists. A cyclonic circulation over Himachal Pradesh and adjoining Uttarakhand between 1.5 to 2.1 km above mean sea level persists. The cyclonic circulation SouthWest-Rajasthan and neighbourhood at 3.1km above mean sea level persists.
